we do reserve the right to decline

I use Domain adServe™ for selling my
Web site? |

Yes
you can. The principle is the same
as selling your domain names. Just
be sure to indicate "with website"
in your ad. |

Can
I use Domain adServe to build traffic
flow to my parked domain? |
|
A. |
Yes
you can . Domain adServe™ is designed
to primarily motivate domain sales
or domains for lease universally,
however you can also advertise to
build traffic flow to your parked
domain pages, or other forms of domain
promotions.
We do however suggest you check with
your parking provider to make sure
there are no "arbitrage
issues" just in case
there is a conflict of interest.

are the costs for advertising on
Domain adServe™
|

A. |
We
are introducing Domain adServe™ to
start at $0.01 a click! However our
system works on a "proxy bidding"
model where the highest bidder gets
more frequency and higher positioning.
There is a minimum $25.00 deposit
to start your campaign and you only
get charged on a "per click"
basis. If you sign
up now, you will be able to grandfather
your keywords at $0.01 indefinitely.
Minimum bid rates will go up to $0.05
in May 2008. You can have several
domain ads running at the same time
to optimize your advertising budget. |

on DAA's
sales database |

Our
Domain
Sales database allows anyone to
list domains for sale in addition
to your listing at Sedo, Afternic
or elsewhere. There is an annual membership
charge of $14.99 to list unlimited
domains. |

Can
I link my Domain ads to my listings
on Sedo, Afternic, DAA or anywhere else?

Before
you start any advertising campaign
using Domain adServe™, you must have
somewhere to link to. That could be
your listing on Sedo, Afternic, here
at DAA's
sales database, or wherever you
would like prospective buyers to start
the sales negotiation process or to
place a bid on buying your domains.

in our sales database and then use
the friendly url as the "landing
page" link when placing your
advertisement on the Domain adServe™
system. There is an annual membership
charge of $14.99 for a listing of
unlimited domains in our sales database.

there a commission charge |

Yes!
DAA will charge a competitive commission
of only 7% if we broker a domain or
web site sale listed in our DAA sales
database. |

How
should I write my domain ads |
|
A. |
When
composing your domain ad, try to be
as creative and coherent as possible.
Use the domain keywords in your ad
to entice your prospect, also try
to be flexible on price.
E.g. .."this domain is negotiable",
or "buy today for 10% discount"
etc. you can also highlight any unique
selling points, e.g.. "gets 100
daily views", or "has 5
bids on Sedo, bid now", or "precise
keyword domain, buy now", "good
future investment"...etc. Be
as creative as you want. Bear in mind
your ads have "viral" word
of mouth potential as web users come
across them, therefore use your limited
space creatively! |

Can
I have more than one ad on the network? |

Yes. You
can have unlimited ads running on
Domain adServe™ all at the same time,
if you have several domains to sell.
Infact, this is why our system will
prove to be one of the most cost effective
methods of selling domains. A budget
of only $25.00 can lead to sales running
into many thousands of dollars for
one or more domains in your account,
all running at the same time!
To create more than one advertisement,
you will first need to be logged
into your Domain adServe™ account. Once
you have first signed
up and logged in, from the navigation
area on the left, click on the "Add
A New Listing" link under Ad Management. |

Display
URL and Destination URL |
|
A. |
The
Display URL is generally shown on
all our advertising creatives.
This IS NOT the URL that someone will
go to when they click on your advertisement.The
Destination URL(landing url) is the
URL the person will go to when they
click on your advertisement.
For an effective domain sale campaign,
it is better to link directly to the
domain you have for sale so prospects
can instantly make you an offer. If
however you are simply advertising
to build traffic flow to your domain
parking page, then you can decide
what is the most suitable landing
page for your visitors. Also try to
make the display url the actual "domain
name" url itself, it's good for
branding the domain and subliminal
advertising. |

How
do I access the statistics of my ad? |

Statistics
for your advertising is available
when you are logged into your Domain
adServe™ account.
Once logged in, you are shown a summary
of all ads in the system. You
can view specific reports by clicking
on the View Reports link for each
ad. |

How
do I stop or pause my ads? |
|

If
you need to pause your campaign, you
can do so clicking on the Pause link
on your Campaign Summary page. |

How
is my advertisements position determined? |
|
A. |
Ad
position is determined by a bid-for-placement
system. All the advertisers who choose
a particular content category for
their ads, place a bid on that content
category. The highest bidder will
have their ad appear at the top of
the list for that content category.
The lowest bidder will have their
ad appear at the bottom of the list.
To help you determine an appropriate
bid, you can view the current top
twenty-five bids on any content category
from the Account Summary area of your
account. The top six advertisers within
a given category are Premier Advertisers.
These ads are seen the most and are
given preferential placement within
the network.

How
soon are my ads placed on the network? |

Advertisements
are placed on the network immediately
after review. Usually within 24hrs. |

will I be charged for my advertising?
|
|
A. |
You
are required to post a payment to
your account before your campaigns
will be shown on the network. This
payment is referred to as a deposit
into your Domain adServe™ account.
Your advertisements will run until
the deposit amount is exhausted from
clicks to your domain site.
When you have exhausted your deposit,
you may make another deposit to resume
your advertising efforts. The initial
deposit is a minimum of $25.00 and
the click amounts will be deducted
each time resulting from all your
ads.
The
Deposits will appear in your your
account immediately once you have
submitted a payment using your credit
card. |

Where
are my ads distributed |
|
A. |
Our
business model is similar to Google
Adsense, therefore your domain ads
will reach potential buyers all over
the world through web sites and blogs
that are mainly target specific to
your domain or are shown according
to what parameters you set.
For instance, if you have Geo domains
such as floridarealestate.com, your
ad will appear on web sites that have
florida or miami specific content.
However your ad can go much further
if you choose national or international
regions for wider exposure, or the
"any keywords" feature.
Like wise, insuranceclaims.com will
appear on financial related web sites
and blogs focused on insurance or
finance.
As you can see, this is how autos,
real estate and business opportunities
are generally sold, by tailoring advertising
to specific groups or regions as opposed
to passively waiting for a hopeful
sale ...domain names are no different! |

You
state that ads are geo targeted. I've
done a test page but they're all in
the USA. How do I target UK only for
instance? |

A. |
To
target your advertisement to a specific
single country, you simply select
the country you wish to target when
creating your ad. The Domain
adServe™ system covers several countries
all over the world. We will be adding
more countries than what we currently
feature, in due course.You can also
select specific states in the United
States only. Geo targeting effects
who will see your advertisement.
Our system will "look" at the address
of the visitor to determine the country
of origin. Once the country
has been determined, advertisements
that have that country selected will
be shown. If you are a publisher,
this occurs based on the person viewing
the page.
While the system is very accurate,
there are some instances where we
will not be able to determine the
country of origin. In these
rare instances, no ads will be shown.
If you are a publisher viewing a page
on your site from another country
and are seeing ads that look like
they are in the wrong country, contact
